4 Pines Brewery is in Manly, New South Wales, about 30 minutes on the ferry from Circular Quay in Sydney. To get to the brewery from the ferry terminal in Manly – head out the front entrance, walk straight to the street, cross the street at the crosswalk and turn right. The brewery will be about 50 meters on your left. Walk up a flight of stairs and your liquid refreshment will be waiting for you.
They hung this banner up high for another clue as to where to go!
Just in case you can’t find the front door, a sign directs you.
Their kegs are even labeled with their logo.
The 4 Pines dining room has both inside and outside seating.
The brewing kettles are next to the dining room.
The bar was manned by some very nice and knowledgeable bartenders.
We both chose their wheat beer which was quite good and we shared a burger that was both huge and yummy. 4 Pines released their Big Brekky Porter to coincide with the anniversary of the first man in space. The release party wasn’t until the evening of our visit but a little chatting with the bartender garnered a sample for us.. Again, a very good beer. The taproom was being decorated for the party with all the space-related items they could find. One guy walked in with a bag of “things” that looked like they had come from the local thrift shop.
