After two weeks in India, we can report that we had our choice of Kingfisher or Kingfisher beer wherever we went! If other Indian beer exists, the restaurants sure don’t put it on the menu. Surely, in a country of 1.3 billion people, other beers must be made!
Thailand does a bit better. We had two standard choices – Singha or Chang. We found a little bar near our hotel that actually had some craft beers, including White Rabbit, Mark’s favorite Australian beer. We had to walk through Soi Cowboy – lots of bars and “girls” when it’s a bit later in the day!
