We found a few miscellaneous Australian beers during our 2 months – friends, restaurants, the Indian-Pacific.

Wild Yak
Wild Yak Ale is produced by Matilda Bay Brewing Company, Port Melbourne, owned by SABMIller. It’s pretty good.

We tried some James Boag in Launceston, Tasmania.
James Boag Brewery is in Launceston and offers tours. When we discovered that a tour costs $A33, we passed. We didn’t really need to spend money on a beer tour when we could spend that same money on tasting beer.

Holgate Brewery is in Woodend, Victoria, and Rob took us to try this one.

We visited Mornington Peninsula Brewery and tried a pizza to go with the beer on a visit with Terry and Ian.
